Pauline Voorhees Recital: Sunday, November 16th at 4 PM. Join us for a prize organ recital, cosponsored with the Yale Institute of Sacred Music.
Children’s Choir Opening Rehearsal: Saturday, November 22nd at 10:30 AM. Children are invited to learn a song to accompany Sunday Advent services. Parents can visit with Rev. Ashley over coffee while they rehearse. Please confirm your child’s participation with Anne Maria Lim by emailing: music@ccotg.org

Holiday Social at the Elm City Club: Thursday, December 11th, from 6-8 PM. Friends are welcome to come and share our holiday cheer! RSVP encouraged via office@ccotg.org
Christmas Eve Carol Sing: Wednesday, December 24th at 3:30 PM / Lessons and Carols at 4 PM. Join us on Christmas Eve for festive carol singing followed by the Service of Lessons and Carols, a traditional service of scripture and song. All are welcome!
Caroling Sunday: Sunday, December 28th at 11 AM. We’ll sing favorite carols and hear stories of how they came to be.
Epiphany Candles and Communion Service: Tuesday, January 6th, 2026. Gather amid the holiday greenery one last time as we celebrate the mystery and revelation of Christ.

History
Our roots go back to 1638, when the Puritans and their minister, The Rev. John Davenport, came here to found a colony and a church. As the founding church of New Haven, the people of Center Church have been walking together in faith for more than three centuries.
Mission
We continue to honor our historic mandate of bringing the love and hope of Jesus Christ to New Haven and its surrounding communities by offering meaningful worship services with beautiful music and thought-provoking sermons.
We are a people whose faith is in process, and we honor and respect the questions as much as the answers.
We believe a loving and gracious God calls us to use our minds along with our hearts and spirits. So if you are a seeker, we invite you to join us!
