Ashley began her ministry in New Haven in September 2024. She was drawn to Center Church on the Green because of its rich history and strong commitment to the city, culture, and the arts. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches. Ashley is thrilled to return to New England, where she spent her childhood.
As an undergraduate at Hamilton College, participation in the Chapel Board and social justice initiatives inspired her to attend Union Theological Seminary. After earning her Master of Divinity (MDiv), she served Congregational churches in Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Connecticut. Eventually, she fulfilled her dream of working with college students at Piedmont University in northeast Georgia, where she served for seventeen years as a Chaplain, Director of Church Relations, and faculty member. While there, she also completed a Doctor of Ministry (DMin) at Columbia Theological Seminary.
